Leisure - activities
The region is well known for its colorful and scented markets in Apt and Cavaillon, for its hundreds of second hand and antique dealers in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and for its historical city, Avignon, reputed for its culture and its festivals.
There are prestigious villages to discover all around : Bonnieux, Gordes,Goult, Lacoste, Ménerbes, Oppède and the ochres of Roussillon and Rustrel.
Further to the west, "Le Pont du Gard", the most impressive aqueduct built by the Romans, and Uzès, a real wonder of a city with its paved streets, its 17th century bourgeois houses and its provencal market are well worth a visit.
To the north stands le Mont Ventoux (1909 m high), the giant of Provence and to the south the Calanques of Cassis, where a small fishing port is hidden with its cafés and restaurants alongside the quay.
It’s with great pleasure that we will tell you about our favourites; whether it’s sporting activities (trekking, biking, golf, kayak, horseriding…), cultural activities (concerts, exhibitions, museums, theaters …), or gourmet pleasures (museum of lavender, tasting of olive oils and wine tasting), you name it !
